From Surviving to Thriving: The Sustainable Diversity and Inclusion Community Coalition Movement Is Building—And You’re Invited
There’s a rhythm in the air right now…
A quiet, determined drumbeat carried by people who refuse to give up on fairness, on belonging, on each other.
If you’re reading this, you’re part of that rhythm.
And I want to speak to you directly—not as an audience, but as a fellow traveler on this road.
🌱 Something Powerful Is Taking Root
At the Institute for Sustainable Diversity and Inclusion, we’re building something bold. Something necessary. Something ours.
The Community Coalition for Sustainable Diversity and Inclusion. [TERRY: We should link to Coalition page]
Let me say this clearly, because it sits at the heart of everything:
“The Community Coalition for Sustainable Diversity and Inclusion will help members move from reactive, isolated survival mode to strategic, sustainable, collective power.”
Read that again.
Feel it.
Because if you’ve been doing this work—really doing it—you know how real the struggle is.
The burnout.
The second-guessing.
The feeling of pushing uphill… sometimes alone.
This coalition exists for that exact moment.
🔥 We See the Challenge—And We’re Building the Answer
Let’s get concrete.
Problem: Difficulty Demonstrating Impact
You’re doing good work… but the proof? It’s fuzzy. Hard to quantify. Easy for others to dismiss.
Sound familiar?
Our Solution:
We’re not here for vague inspiration alone—we’re here for tools that land.
Inside the coalition, members will get:
- Practical, real-world metrics for inclusion and belonging
- Clear ways to connect inclusion efforts to business outcomes and community impact
- Shared frameworks and examples you can actually use in your organization tomorrow morning
This isn’t theory. This is amplified effectiveness.
🌐 Why Circle? Because Community Isn’t a Side Feature—It’s the Whole Point
We’ve chosen Circle as the digital home for this movement—and honestly? It just fits.
- It creates a true community space, not just a content dump
- It allows for real conversations, live events, shared learning, and collaboration
- And yes… we’re building a dedicated coalition app so this community travels with you wherever you go
Because connection shouldn’t be complicated. It should feel like walking into a room where people get it.
💥 Juneteenth Launch: Fueling the Movement
On June 19th, we launch our GoFundMe campaign.
Not just to raise dollars—but to raise belief.
This campaign will help fund:
- The Circle platform
- Development of the coalition app
- The infrastructure to support a thriving, accessible, national community
Juneteenth is about freedom, resilience, and unfinished work.
Feels like the right moment to build something that carries all three forward.
🌟 Founding Members: Come Build This With Us
This is where it gets exciting.
As we approach our summer 2026 launch, we’ll be inviting a group of Founding Members into the inner circle.
Not spectators.
Co-creators.
You’ll help shape:
- The resources we build
- The conversations we prioritize
- The tools we develop
Based on what you and this community say you need to keep pushing forward.
If you’ve ever thought,
“Why doesn’t someone just build what we actually need?”
…this is your moment.
📣 Stay Close—This Is Just the Beginning
Here’s the simple ask:
👉 Subscribe to the ISDI newsletter
👉 Follow us on social media
Because things are about to move—fast, and in all the right ways.
We’ll be sharing:
- Early access opportunities
- Founding member invitations
- Sneak peeks at tools and programming
- Stories from people like you, doing the work every day
💛 Final Thought
You are not alone in this.
Not in the frustration.
Not in the hope.
Not in the fight.
We’re building a space where your work is strengthened, your voice is amplified, and your impact becomes undeniable.
So stay close.
Something powerful is coming…
And it’s being built by people exactly like you.
