
Where We Stand on DEIAB
The Institute for Sustainable Diversity & Inclusion (ISDI) stands firmly in support of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Belonging efforts in all companies and organizations that serve, educate, govern, and support our diverse, multicultural, multiracial society.
We chose our name to say, “sustainable diversity and inclusion” because that is what is required in a society like ours. Differences of all kinds exist within the social make-up of the people in the United States. When we unwaveringly recognize and support these differences, then people feel they belong and are truly included as members of society. When these feelings are present, the country and its organizations realize the benefits of diversity—everyone is participating, contributing their best ideas, discovering innovative solutions, and helping to solve problems and make the best decisions. This is “sustainable diversity and inclusion.”
If we cannot sustain diversity and inclusion, then we cannot claim that all of our people have a shot at pursuing the American Dream. If we cannot sustain diversity and inclusion, then we cannot uphold our country’s founding principles that “all people are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
