Change Starts With Leaders
Overview
We believe that long-term, meaningful change starts with leaders. We follow a leadership-led approach to DEI organizational change because we believe leaders must set the expectations and be accountable for achieving sustainable results. ISDI’s consultants use world-class, evidence-based approaches to help organizational leaders be better prepared to fully address DEI challenges and opportunities.
When our work is completed, we leave behind a leadership team that is empowered to, and capable of, carrying out a DEI strategic plan and leading their organization in short- and long-term DEI action plans.
Why DEI?
Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are all key factors in competing for talent, generating innovation and being recognized as a great place to work.

Benefits
Leadership must set the vision and pace for organizational change. With a well-developed DEI Strategy, organizations can make intentional, meaningful and measurable progress towards their goals. ISDI consultants will lead organizational leaders through a process for identifying target areas for change and applying industry-recognized best-practices. This thorough process aids leaders in avoiding common missteps—such as launching empty initiatives that promote “lip service,” or launching a plan without proper accountability measures.
A successful DEI strategy can result in increased productivity, higher levels of employee satisfaction and engagement, lower levels of employee turnover and increased innovation. These efforts may also enhance the organization’s reputation as an inclusive employer.
